An herbalist's recipe book looks different than a cook's cookbook. Sure, you will find good things to eat here, but you will also find tried and true herbal formulas for everything from cough syrups and lozenges, to teas and tinctures. Some of our formula recipes are given in "parts." This simply means that you may use any unit of measurement -- cup, ounce, pound, tablespoon, teaspoon -- as long as you use that unit consistently throughout the recipe. Many of our formulas can be made several ways: a tea, tincture, decoction, put into capsules, or made into an herbal oil. Use your herbalist intuition to decide how you'll use these wonderful recipes. Enjoy!
