You’ve seen how to make herbal formulas step by step, but does it still seem a little daunting? Here’s a list of things many experienced herbalists tap into when creating herbal formulas for themselves, their friends and families.
Pray. Bless and give thanks for your herbs. In the Bible, read 1 Timothy 4:4: For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Ponder. As you study about the different herbs, what jumps out at you? What “feels right”? Follow your God-given intuition and inspiration. Open your mind to the possibilities that are within you. Don’t overthink this.
Go with your gut. Think about the person you are creating this for. Go inside yourself again, and ask, “What are they trying to achieve in their health and how can these herbs be of use to them?”
Louise Hay, in her book, You Can Heal Your Life, shares this affirmation, “Deep at the center of my being there is an infinite well of love. I now allow this love to flow to the surface – it fills my heart, my body, my mind, my consciousness, my very being, and radiates out from me in all directions and returns to me multiplied.”
