Anyone have any experience using herbs with their dogs? I have four dogs, and two of them have cancer. One has lymphoma and the other has bladder cancer. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on herbs or anything to use on dogs? Just looking for ideas. Thank you.

So my cat was recently diagnosed with a tumor. I did some research and bought Milk thistle, turmeric and 2 other blends (herbal, not synthetic) that are for cats with cancer. The same company has stuff formulated for dogs, but really you can just follow the research and make/purchase the stuff from any reputable company. Among other important things to consider, the concept of bioavailability is something to keep in mind when you are figuring out what to give to both yourself and your pets. Just because an ingredient is in a supplement, it doesn’t mean it will be taken up by the body so putting in the extra time to research which products are formulated to be taken up the most efficiently means you aren’t wasting money.
